Wi-Fi Design Principles

Technologies as widely diffused as Wi-Fi are often taken lightly because of their daily lives. This being a widely spread pattern at business levels, they end up resulting in multiple complaints from those who use this type of service. To establish a common starting point we have to establish conventions, for this, we must be clear that users need:
  1. Trust in services: Connecting to the Wi-Fi network should be as natural as approaching the network cable
  2. Stability: The rate of transfer errors must be controlled and measured at all times to guarantee user satisfaction levels.
  3. Performance: The transfer rate must satisfy the SLO of the users.
  4. Security: The air as a means of transfer must be secured, monitored, and with the necessary defenses so that the information of our users is safe.
Although this blog post does not provide details on each of these items, it is intended to describe the next entries.
